As "Fashion Month" is wrapping up, we've been painstakingly making our way through hundreds upon hundreds of runway images to bring you our favorite trends from each city. First up, we have New York Fashion Week - read on to discover our favorite NYFW trends and stay tuned for London, Milan and Paris!

There's no doubt that sportswear took a literal turn on the runway this season, but we're still not talking gym attire. Sporty fabrics such as mesh take on sophisticated silhouettes whilst luxe silks and leathers "sport" boxier athletics silhouettes for an altogether sharp look that belongs nowhere near a treadmill.

From Left to Right: Cushnie et Ochs, Kenneth Cole Collection, Milly, Suno, 10 Crosby Derek Lam, BCBG Max Azria.

If you were anywhere near the WWDMAGIC floor this season, one thing was surely evident, the Nineties are back, and no silhouette is more synonymous with the Nineties than the slip dress. Whether classic spaghetti strapped, bib necked or boxy, mini or maxi, bright or white - the slip dress is a must have for Spring 2014.

From Left to Right: Helmut Lang, Band of Outsiders, Rag and Bone, Jason Wu, Tess Giberson.

We discussed Matching Separates earlier this summer in our "On Trend" series, and this street style driven trend isn't going anywhere for Spring 2014. Look for snappy short suits and vintage inspired two pieces to get the look!

From Left to Right: Lyn Devon, Nicole Miller, Christian Siriano, Misha Nonoo, Christian Siriano.
