Can you tell us about some of the exciting events and seminars happening at the show this season?
Very excited to have Hal Rubenstein back as Guest Fashion Director for the daily North Hall Fashion shows, The Photo Studio @ WWDMAGIC always has action going on so that's something to take a look at when on the show floor. We are in the process of finalizing our Yoga Lounge schedule where we will be offering free daily yoga classes – a great way to relieve any kind of stress you might have. In Central Hall, the Concourse remains the place to be with our live DJs, live muralist Justin Pierce and, of course, our daily panels in the Social House. But our biggest news on the Concourse this show comes in the form of a shark…well, more like a Shark Tank. The producers from Shark Tank will be on site looking for brands to invite to be a part of their upcoming season.

What is one of your favorite things about the WWDMAGIC show?
WWDMAGIC always allows for friends made in the industry to come together, reconnect, have fun but most of all do a lot of business!

What advice would you give to the attendees at the show this season so that they can get the very most out of their experience?
Use MAP YOUR SHOW on our website and app. Mapping out who you want to see before you get to the show site will allow you to do so much more. And, of course, wear comfortable shoes.

What makes WWDMAGIC different than other trade shows?
WWDMAGIC's strength has always been the depth and breadth of our brand assortment – both new and name brands. From Juniors to Accessories, Swim to Women’s Sportswear – we have a curated area for every retailer, whether they’re a boutique or dept. store. Which is why we draw in the most buyers of any apparel trade show in the USA – those two things combined make us hard to beat.

Which new or emerging brands are you most excited about this season at WWDMAGIC?
We're always proud to introduce our Emerging Designers each season. This year they are:

Grey Vintage
House of Perna
Isabella Rose Taylor
Love + Leather
Doubtless USA
Paula Cheng
Shonshan Lee
Stephanie Sachs
Toy Syndrome

We're also very excited that MANGO chose us to make the USA debut of their new line - VIOLETA.

Thanks Christopher - we're looking forward to another great show!
