CURVENV highlights the newest swim styles expected to hit the beaches and poolsides this summer.

How do you flaunt your stuff and still keep it covered up this summer?  A sexy one piece!  See these along with everyone’s favorite – the bikini.  But to keep it interesting we’re showing you a few updated versions of this classic beauty.

The One Piece Evolution

One piece suits are no longer reserved for swim team practice and the modest at heart. When first introduced the one piece brought on oohs, ahhs, and even some gasps.  But imagine the reaction to today’s styles!  High cut legs, low cut backs and torso cut outs are making a sexy statement this summer. And for an effortless transition from sea to land, throw on your go-to demin shorts over this summer essential.

The Monokini

This summer, “monokinis” are the latest trend in fashionable swimwear. The term – used to describe a one piece with a low cut, exposed back – gives a tasteful take on sexy swimwear.

For a sportier look, front-zipper one pieces combine fashionable and functional for your aquatic adventures this summer.

Ocean Couture

One piece swimsuits that incorperate mesh are a staple in this summer’s swimwear fashion. Try a mesh pannel in the front, back or sides of the suit to add sex appeal to any one piece.

Whether at the beach or your favorite pool destination, the lace-up trend adds a fun twist to a simple, solid one piece swimsuit.

Cut Outs
Don’t think that turning in two pieces for one means that your torso can’t see the sun – one piece cut outs can maintain the skin-exposing element that you love in a bikini.

Not Your Basic Bikini

You might think: you’ve seen one bikini, you’ve seen them all.  Not true!  Cut, fit and pattern provide news ways to wear this perennial favorite.

The Halter

Halter-style bikini tops are a modern variation to the traditional triangle bikini top.  Paired this top with denim shorts and you’re ready to go from pool to … wherever!

Pattern Blocking
Pattern blocking is a trend that has expanded from apparel to swimwear. Whether it's florals and stripes or abstracts and geometrics, pattern blocking is a great way to give a visual twist to the two piece.

Skye Swimwear

A throwback to the mid-century 50’s, high-waisted bikini bottoms are a fun reference to vintage style while achieving a modernized look through stylish fabrics and patterns.

Ally B Swim

Often marked by a single strap on only one shoulder, the asymmetrical swimsuit top is an innovative trend in swimwear that is sure to give you a unique look when relaxing by the pool this summer.
